KMT Non-Profit Organization (NPO)

The KMT Non-Profit Organization (NPO) serves as the central entity responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the Krafla Magma Testbed. Governed by a Board of Directors, the NPO oversees strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement to advance our mission of revolutionizing volcano science and geothermal energy research.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides strategic direction and oversight to KMT’s operations. Scientific and Technical Board

The Scientific and Technical Board (STB) comprises leading scientists, researchers, and engineers who provide expert guidance on the scientific and technical aspects of KMT’s projects. Tasked with evaluating research proposals, reviewing project outcomes, and advising on scientific priorities, the STB plays a pivotal role in maintaining the scientific integrity and excellence of KMT’s endeavours.
